Indrotec Contractor Spotlight: Mitch

Two years into his journey, in 2015, Mitch transitioned from a contractor to a permanent role, solidifying his commitment to contributing to the Medtronic mission. Over the years, he had the privilege of taking on various roles within the Assembly (CEA) team, each experience shaping his skills and expertise.

Starting as an Assembler I, Mitch honed his technical abilities and contributed to the production process. The learning curve was steep, but with the support of his colleagues and a relentless drive to excel, he remained motivated. This commitment paid off when Mitch was promoted to Assembler II, a milestone that validated his dedication and progress.

In 2020, another remarkable opportunity presented itself as Mitch was promoted to Team Lead. This role allowed him to not only excel in his tasks but also to guide and inspire his colleagues. Becoming a Production Group Lead further reinforced his leadership skills and broadened his understanding of the company's operations.

Looking ahead, Mitch has set both short and long-term goals for his Medtronic career:

Short Term Goal: Mitch is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Applied Engineering Technology with a focus on Biomedical Design & Manufacturing at Anoka-Ramsey Community College. He has approximately three semesters remaining to achieve this milestone.

Long Term Goals: Mitch long-term aspirations include pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering through the Medtronic MAPS Program, demonstrating his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
